Gift Your Mom a Pretty Bread Pan for Mother’s Day

As a site dedicated to finding the best products out there in a host of different categories, we like to think of ourselves as pretty great gift-givers, especially since we’re on the pulse of new product launches and testing products out ourselves. This Mother’s Day, we asked our editors to share what they’re gifting their mom this year.

Mother’s Day has always been the trickiest gifting holiday for me. My mom has told me and my brother numerous times that the best gift that we can give her is a visit home to celebrate in person, but with both of our busy schedules that’s just not always realistic.

So, we’ve had to get creative over the years since she’s not really someone who likes a lot of stuff. We’ve gifted her food tours, special dinners at local restaurants, a pretty set of Champagne glasses, and nice bottles of wine. But when it came time to brainstorm ideas this year, I was inspired by the recent bread-baking craze.
My mom has always been into baking: cakes, cookies, muffins, tarts, you name it. Along with her famous “Mrs. Murphy’s chocolate chip cookies,” she’s also been known to bake a mean banana bread, which we’ve seen everyone on the internet making like crazy during quarantine, too. While browsing around William-Sonoma’s website one day (my way of reducing stress), I came across the beautiful Nordic Ware Jubilee Loaf Pan, and I knew immediately it was what I wanted to gift my mom for Mother’s Day.

What makes this bread pan special? The material it’s made out of, for starters, which is cast-aluminum. It’s designed for uniform heating, so every part of the bread cooks evenly, and there’s a nonstick coating that’s supposed to last for years. We love the Jubilee Loaf Pan’s pretty pattern, and it’s recommended that you start filling it just a little bit at first to make sure your batter covers all the nooks and crannies that create the pattern. The pan is oven-safe up to 400 degrees and hand-wash only.
